Weight Distribution

At Trak Shak we follow the Australian design regulations for the construction of small trailers. The design rules call for a 10% ball weight, this is how we have designed our unit. With the unit so well balanced you will find the trailer is very easy to menouvere when not hooked up to the vehicle and puts very little additional stress on the tow vehicle once you venture into the really rough stuff.

With the extra long draw bar on the Trak Shak reversing in or out of tight spots is a breeze. The static height of the Trak Shak gives the unit a huge advantage as our clearance height, approach and departure angles far exceed those found on most 4wd's.

One space saving feature built into the Trak Shak is the fact that the unit will sit very safely up on it's two rear recovery points, thus allowing the unit to be pushed into the back of a garage or carport, sat up on its rear recovery points and minimise the space required when your unit is not being used. This method of storage allows you to park a small car in the space normally occupied by the trailer alone.
